- Great place and great location! This was a good fit for our family and I highly recommend it. Be aware that you may get some extra noise from private tenants down below your sleeping area. We would definitely come back again!
Brittany4/14/2022Their homemade breakfast was over the top. It was in the middle of many national parks and easy to get to. Todd and JanElle were very pleasant and made the place feel comfy. 
Curtis6/28/2020JanElle is an awesome host! Very accomodating. The property is beautiful. She even made fresh muffins in thr morning for us. Will stay again. Family loved the games and big yard and all of the wildlife. Plus the amazing views. Give it a look!

Viviana9/08/2023This was a great place for us to meet up with friends. The common areas comfortably accommodated several guests. Our suite worked well for us too. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch with mountain views. We hope to stay again. 
Sonja8/08/2021Great setting and plenty of space. A little off the beaten path, but still close enough if you are going to Mesa Verde. It is worth it to have spacious rooms and activity options for the kids to run around and enjoy. They loved the tire swing and the game room. Clean & comfy.

Cami6/26/2020JanElle's place feels so cozy! The rustic Americana vibe just makes you melt when you've been traveling all day. We had to make a last-minute reservation, but JanElle was super accomodating!

Meredith9/21/2020Generally a good place to stay, however the headboard on the bed should be swapped out for a smaller one that allows the bed to sit against the wall as it is very small and feels too easy to fall off because of it not being against the wall. The ac unit is so loud that it's difficult to sleep through so I had to turn it off. the covers onthe bed are too small and made for a less than ideal nights sleep . the shower and bathroom are well maintained and easy to use.

Tracer4/11/2021This place will not disappoint you! JanElle and her family are amazing wonderful kind souls! They went above and beyond to make sure we got the best experience durning our stay. JanElle was in constant contact with me weeks before our arrival we had a million questions and she was sure to answer and figure stuff out for us. We loved the extras we added to our stay. The murder mystery dinner was a blast and her family came and sat in the heat and kept score and set up a cornhole tournament. Cause ya know we are a bit competitive our family was able to get closer and connect and relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The lake was just a 20 minute drive and there was plenty to do. We will definitely be having our next family reunion here again. Book this place for an amazing experience ❤️ 
Maree8/16/2020We had a multi generational family stay here and it was great. Kids loved the foosball, games, tire swing and all the open space to run. The place was comfortable and plenty of room. 10/10 would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Aaron7/18/2020Such a fun unique stay! Great value, especially for families. Our private “suite” was very roomy— 2 private bedrooms plus another semi private space with a single bed, plus a large entry hall and living room! It felt like an entire 2 bedroom apartment. Breakfast was amazing and really contributes to the warm hospitality. We enjoyed our conversations with the hosts and learned a lot about the area. The views are beautiful. We played some ping pong and a board game. It was nice to see a true family business with the kids pitching in too. A great Airbnb experience. Highly recommended!

Clint6/25/2021We had a fantastic stay! We were comfortably able to accommodate our group staying at the home and our family that visited during the day that lives locally. The home is very spacious and a perfect location for large families or multiple families traveling together. We cooked our full Thanksgiving meal and had plenty of cooking utensils to use in the kitchen. The game room and tire swing were hits with the kids. Very friendly and responsive hosts, would definitely recommend!

Sarah6/19/2022Talk about some amazing hospitality! This was such a cute setup on a little farm with an awesome views! Jana makes the most delicious homemade muffins and it was so nice to wake up to a homemade breakfast. We felt so cozy here. My son also forgot his stuffed animal there and Jana was kind enough to offer mailing it to us. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Cameron3/12/2023The Mountain View Lodge was a lovely property, and proved to be a choice location while traveling through Cortez. The Wranglers Roost was plenty comfortable for our overnight stay - bedding options, space, and value were a win. We greatly appreciated the service and offerings JanElle and Todd provide, and we'd look forward to an opportunity to stay again while in the area.

I booked at the last minute, but JanElle and her family were so welcoming and accommodating. The place is close to Mesa Verde NP, but you could come here just for a vacation.
Located on a large property (farm?) there are sweet touches like bottled water and snacks in each suite, a game room and kitchen. In the common area and even a tire swing outside for the kids. We saw deer across the street last night and a million stars.
The hosts were also incredibly helpful in recommending local restaurants and breakfast was amazing.
We stumbled on this listing out of necessity, and will be back by choice. You won’t be disappointed.
