Roshan9/23/2023We had a great time in the Mesa Verde area staying in the Wranglers Roost. JanElle and Todd were responsive and excellent hosts. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. The location was very close to the National in Park as well as other areas of interest. Unexpectedly we were provided with fresh muffins and a great breakfast on our last day. It was awesome and was a great personal touch. Hope to stay here again in future.

Mike8/17/2021Terrific value! The suite was roomy, comfortable, and very clean. JanElle and Todd were very helpful and accommodating and even made a delicious hot breakfast on the morning of our departure. We highly recommend it!

Peter3/20/2022Great setting and plenty of space. A little off the beaten path, but still close enough if you are going to Mesa Verde. It is worth it to have spacious rooms and activity options for the kids to run around and enjoy. They loved the tire swing and the game room. Clean & comfy. 
Jana3/25/2022We were a large group of 14. When we arrive at Mountain View Lodge everything was ready the lights were even on. The lodge is so curly decorated. We were four families and had enough rooms for each family. The kids were able to run around in the large yard, play games in the games room. When asked what they wanted to do they replied play. There was even a tree swing which the kids loved. Our stay their was relaxing and very peaceful. Mountain View Lodge is a hidden gem. The scenery was amazing! JoaElle was a wonderful host. This is a place I would love to return to. Thank you for a great vacation! 
Kathy6/09/2023We loved staying here! The pictures don’t do it justice. It was spacious, peaceful, and had beautiful views. The hosts were kind and responsive and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others! 
Rebecca3/30/2023Perfect for our one-night stay near Mesa Verde NP. Very quiet, private, and peaceful location near restaurants and stores. Super clean and very spacious with two separate bedrooms connected to a sitting area and private bathroom. Lots of amenities and the access to a full kitchen on the first floor was a huge plus - we used this stop to re-supply for the next leg of our cross country road trip. Dolores is a cool town with lots of interesting things to do and Cortez has all the stores and amenities travelers need. Host checked on us soon after arrival to see if we had any questions or needed anything - great stay! 
Tod7/17/2023Wranglers Roost, past the kitchen and living area and upstairs to Wranglers Roost. Got those place because it had seperate bedrooms for a friend and I. There's another tiny bed that's tucked away at the corner of the main living space. Bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. Bathroom was great and full of towels. One of the bedroom has a small living area with tv and mini fridge. The house sits on the outer skirts of town so drive into city is about 10 mins.

Von dem Grundstück schaut man auf weite Felder und hat die Hügel im Hintergrund. Wir haben den Abend auf der Veranda verbracht und die Aussicht genossen. Für Selbstversorger gibt es ein Walmart ganz in der Nähe. In dem Haus gibt es eine gut ausgestattete Küche und Fernseher sowie einen Spielraum.
Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! 
Bettina9/03/2023We really enjoyed our stay at this great location! We enjoyed watching deer from the front and back windows, being away from the city, access to the large private and shared spaces. Great location for a great price!

Clint6/25/2021Great place and great location! This was a good fit for our family and I highly recommend it. Be aware that you may get some extra noise from private tenants down below your sleeping area. We would definitely come back again!

The host is absolutely fantastic, helping with any issues in the lodge and also giving great tips for local activities. 
Peter1/01/2021We stayed in the Wrangler's Roost which was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality. My kids loved the game room, huge yard, and playground set! We also loved the wonderful breakfast, it was homemade and amazing! I highly recommended Janelle's Airbnb! The kids loved the activity room with all the toys and the view is amazing from the front porch. We spend many morning s and evening’s sitting outside. Our whole family enjoyed the trip. Manuela6/17/2021The hosts are very kind and friendly, making you feel at home during the stay. The common area downstairs is a nice touch as it gives the opportunity to interact with other guests while you make coffee (should you so choose). The view is incredible with a patio to sit on while you look over the valley. 
Kelsey9/26/2020The unit was the perfect size and layout for our family of five. The location is mere minutes from the entrance to Canyon of the Ancients National Monument and a very short drive to Mesa Verda National Park. It is near enough to town to provide easy access to stores and restaurants while still being just enough "off the beaten path" to be peacefully quiet and provide many opportunities to enjoy the passing deer. The common-area kitchen was clean and well equipped for all our cooking needs. My daughter loved the tire swing out front while my son played the piano in the spacious common-area living/dining room. The host communicated well and made check-in and check-out super easy. We definitely plan to stay here again in the near future! Luke10/06/2021We had a multi generational family stay here and it was great. Kids loved the foosball, games, tire swing and all the open space to run. The place was comfortable and plenty of room. 10/10 would stay here again. Highly recommend. 
Christopher9/08/2021Generally a good place to stay, however the headboard on the bed should be swapped out for a smaller one that allows the bed to sit against the wall as it is very small and feels too easy to fall off because of it not being against the wall. The ac unit is so loud that it's difficult to sleep through so I had to turn it off. the covers onthe bed are too small and made for a less than ideal nights sleep . the shower and bathroom are well maintained and easy to use. 
Jerry9/02/2023This place was awesome. Great location for Mesa Verde. Plenty of room for 6 people, 2 private rooms, and a great common room downstairs. Also a really cool mountain view from the front porch with some chairs. Nice and quiet, very clean, would highly recommend!
