Jackie5/21/2022Great house for our family reunion we had. Games for the whole family and totes of toys for kids. Great yard and close to Mesa Verde, Four Corners, and great local restaurants. We are planning to come back again! 
Sarah6/19/2022This was the perfect stop for our group of 3 families- including 7 kids! Our kids only wanted to hang out at the house instead of doing all the amazing things offered around Mesa Verde. The large gorgeous front yard was perfect for soccer, football, or anything else our kids could conjure up. The game room was also a huge hit. Clearly, the hosts have kept families and kids in mind when staying here, and we appreciated it! 
Elizabeth4/09/2022Their homemade breakfast was over the top. It was in the middle of many national parks and easy to get to. Todd and JanElle were very pleasant and made the place feel comfy.

Russell8/29/2022We had an wonderful trip. The house is very nice and spacious, lots of room to move around. The Owners are amazing and gave some great local food recommendations. We were taking a snowboarding trip in Colorado and the this house was an amazing place to relax at after coming back from the mountain. Cole1/03/2022JanElle is an excellent and kind host. Cami6/26/2020We rented the entire place for a gathering of family and friends to celebrate a 90th birthday, hosting about 25 people. The place was perfect for the occasion. Lots of room and well equipped. The view is spectacular. The suites are large , clean and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 days and the location is great, it's a short drive to Cortez or Dolores or Mesa Verde NP. Lots of things to do. This place is an exceptional value.

Irene3/29/2021We were a large group of 14. When we arrive at Mountain View Lodge everything was ready the lights were even on. The lodge is so curly decorated. We were four families and had enough rooms for each family. The kids were able to run around in the large yard, play games in the games room. When asked what they wanted to do they replied play. There was even a tree swing which the kids loved. Our stay their was relaxing and very peaceful. Mountain View Lodge is a hidden gem. The scenery was amazing! JoaElle was a wonderful host. This is a place I would love to return to. Thank you for a great vacation! 
Kathy6/09/2023Generally a good place to stay, however the headboard on the bed should be swapped out for a smaller one that allows the bed to sit against the wall as it is very small and feels too easy to fall off because of it not being against the wall. The ac unit is so loud that it's difficult to sleep through so I had to turn it off. the covers onthe bed are too small and made for a less than ideal nights sleep . the shower and bathroom are well maintained and easy to use. 
Jerry9/02/2023Great home for large families or groups. Everything you need is provided, JanElle was quick to respond to our questions. The kids loved the activity room with all the toys and the view is amazing from the front porch. We spend many morning s and evening’s sitting outside. Our whole family enjoyed the trip. Manuela6/17/2021The property is immaculate, spacious, well appointed and equipped. The location was bucolic, with views of the sleeping Ute. The host is extremely responsive and informative. I believe that this stay is perhaps the most exceptional of any I have had in an AirBnB.

Ricardo3/26/2020 - The unit was the perfect size and layout for our family of five. The location is mere minutes from the entrance to Canyon of the Ancients National Monument and a very short drive to Mesa Verda National Park. It is near enough to town to provide easy access to stores and restaurants while still being just enough "off the beaten path" to be peacefully quiet and provide many opportunities to enjoy the passing deer. The common-area kitchen was clean and well equipped for all our cooking needs. My daughter loved the tire swing out front while my son played the piano in the spacious common-area living/dining room. The host communicated well and made check-in and check-out super easy. We definitely plan to stay here again in the near future! Luke10/06/2021Terrific value! The suite was roomy, comfortable, and very clean. JanElle and Todd were very helpful and accommodating and even made a delicious hot breakfast on the morning of our departure. We highly recommend it!

Raven6/27/2020We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and comfortable. We had 10 people in our group and we definitely could have fit a few more comfortably. There are even some futons and pull out couches if you need to cram in a few more beyond that.
The hosts were very helpful when needed. The view is amazing. The yard was fun for the kids to play in. They loved the tire swing! We loved that each suite had its own sitting area and TV. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely try to get back for another stay someday.

Sage10/01/2023We had a multi generational family stay here and it was great. Kids loved the foosball, games, tire swing and all the open space to run. The place was comfortable and plenty of room. 10/10 would stay here again. Highly recommend.

I booked at the last minute, but JanElle and her family were so welcoming and accommodating. The place is close to Mesa Verde NP, but you could come here just for a vacation.
Located on a large property (farm?) there are sweet touches like bottled water and snacks in each suite, a game room and kitchen. In the common area and even a tire swing outside for the kids. We saw deer across the street last night and a million stars.
The hosts were also incredibly helpful in recommending local restaurants and breakfast was amazing.
We stumbled on this listing out of necessity, and will be back by choice. You won’t be disappointed. 
Christina7/28/2020Talk about some amazing hospitality! This was such a cute setup on a little farm with an awesome views! Jana makes the most delicious homemade muffins and it was so nice to wake up to a homemade breakfast. We felt so cozy here. My son also forgot his stuffed animal there and Jana was kind enough to offer mailing it to us. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

We were comfortably able to accommodate our group staying at the home and our family that visited during the day that lives locally. The home is very spacious and a perfect location for large families or multiple families traveling together. We cooked our full Thanksgiving meal and had plenty of cooking utensils to use in the kitchen. The game room and tire swing were hits with the kids. Very friendly and responsive hosts, would definitely recommend!
