Kevin9/01/2023This place is in a great location! Currently seeing some renovations, but quite the ample space and great for large groups. There are some other tenants on property and no washer/dryer. However, the big open space on the main floor is very enjoyable and a great view out the front! 
Russell8/30/2021Todd and JanElle's place is great! Plenty of room for large families/groups. They are both very kind and helpful, and readily available if you should need anything. You will really enjoy their place and the beauty of Colorado! 
Polly7/29/2021We loved staying here! The pictures don’t do it justice. It was spacious, peaceful, and had beautiful views. The hosts were kind and responsive and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Debbie8/09/2021This was a great place for us to meet up with friends. The common areas comfortably accommodated several guests. Our suite worked well for us too. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch with mountain views. We hope to stay again.

Divas1/10/2021JanElle is an awesome host! Very accomodating. The property is beautiful. She even made fresh muffins in thr morning for us. Will stay again. Family loved the games and big yard and all of the wildlife. Plus the amazing views. Give it a look!

Leah3/14/2022Generally a good place to stay, however the headboard on the bed should be swapped out for a smaller one that allows the bed to sit against the wall as it is very small and feels too easy to fall off because of it not being against the wall. The ac unit is so loud that it's difficult to sleep through so I had to turn it off. the covers onthe bed are too small and made for a less than ideal nights sleep . the shower and bathroom are well maintained and easy to use.

Dominic11/06/2023The Mountain View Lodge was a lovely property, and proved to be a choice location while traveling through Cortez. The Wranglers Roost was plenty comfortable for our overnight stay - bedding options, space, and value were a win. We greatly appreciated the service and offerings JanElle and Todd provide, and we'd look forward to an opportunity to stay again while in the area. 
Ryan3/15/2022JanElle's place feels so cozy! The rustic Americana vibe just makes you melt when you've been traveling all day. We had to make a last-minute reservation, but JanElle was super accomodating! 
Shane4/20/2020We had a fantastic stay! We were comfortably able to accommodate our group staying at the home and our family that visited during the day that lives locally. The home is very spacious and a perfect location for large families or multiple families traveling together. We cooked our full Thanksgiving meal and had plenty of cooking utensils to use in the kitchen. The game room and tire swing were hits with the kids. Very friendly and responsive hosts, would definitely recommend!

Jisha1/03/2021We had an wonderful trip. The house is very nice and spacious, lots of room to move around. The Owners are amazing and gave some great local food recommendations. We were taking a snowboarding trip in Colorado and the this house was an amazing place to relax at after coming back from the mountain. Cole1/03/2022 - Talk about some amazing hospitality! This was such a cute setup on a little farm with an awesome views! Jana makes the most delicious homemade muffins and it was so nice to wake up to a homemade breakfast. We felt so cozy here. My son also forgot his stuffed animal there and Jana was kind enough to offer mailing it to us. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Brenda6/10/2021The Wrangler's Roost was a great fit for our family of 6 while we were visiting the area! The kids loved the game room and being able to get outside. The location worked well for us as we visited Mesa Verde and Hovenweep.

JanElle should have a super host status, they went far and beyond what was written on the website-- cooked gourmet breakfast with extra portions for my hungry boys, brought printer from her house so we can print some paperwork and even made me a batch of her signature apricot jam to take home with me. The house was so spacious, hosts don't leave there, but there were other rooms for occupants with shared kitchen and playroom. We didn't feel crowded at all, hosts even separated us for breakfast because of Covid 19 scare. My boys LOVED the space-- there were so many toys there in a separate playroom, we didn't see them because they were so busy playing. Overall, the best stay ever, we will recommend it to all our friends and would love to come back!

Curtis6/28/2020We were a large group of 14. When we arrive at Mountain View Lodge everything was ready the lights were even on. The lodge is so curly decorated. We were four families and had enough rooms for each family. The kids were able to run around in the large yard, play games in the games room. When asked what they wanted to do they replied play. There was even a tree swing which the kids loved. Our stay their was relaxing and very peaceful. Mountain View Lodge is a hidden gem. The scenery was amazing! JoaElle was a wonderful host. This is a place I would love to return to. Thank you for a great vacation!

Erin11/09/2020Great home for large families or groups. Everything you need is provided, JanElle was quick to respond to our questions. The kids loved the activity room with all the toys and the view is amazing from the front porch. We spend many morning s and evening’s sitting outside. Our whole family enjoyed the trip. Meredith9/21/2020The property is immaculate, spacious, well appointed and equipped. The location was bucolic, with views of the sleeping Ute. The host is extremely responsive and informative. I believe that this stay is perhaps the most exceptional of any I have had in an AirBnB.

Mike8/17/2021We rented the entire place for a gathering of family and friends to celebrate a 90th birthday, hosting about 25 people. The place was perfect for the occasion. Lots of room and well equipped. The view is spectacular. The suites are large , clean and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 days and the location is great, it's a short drive to Cortez or Dolores or Mesa Verde NP. Lots of things to do. This place is an exceptional value.
