- The place is everything you need. Very well centralized to go places. Very well maintained. The owners are very accommodating to your needs. Perfect for larger groups or multi family vacations. Very comfortable and relaxing. Hope to visit again in the future!

Ewa8/03/2022Talk about some amazing hospitality! This was such a cute setup on a little farm with an awesome views! Jana makes the most delicious homemade muffins and it was so nice to wake up to a homemade breakfast. We felt so cozy here. My son also forgot his stuffed animal there and Jana was kind enough to offer mailing it to us. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

We booked pretty last minute in July 🥵 so the bedrooms were pretty hot upon arrival but the hosts were extremely accommodating and helped us utilize other spaces/fans while the rooms cooled down.
Very friendly, responsive and helpful hosts! 
Ben7/04/2023The view was incredible, the owners helpful and attentive, and the space is beautiful. A gorgeous common area, nice game room, and a full kitchen to play with if you decide to not eat out.

Raven6/27/2020Wranglers Roost, past the kitchen and living area and upstairs to Wranglers Roost. Got those place because it had seperate bedrooms for a friend and I. There's another tiny bed that's tucked away at the corner of the main living space. Bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. Bathroom was great and full of towels. One of the bedroom has a small living area with tv and mini fridge. The house sits on the outer skirts of town so drive into city is about 10 mins.

Roshan9/23/2023The Mountain View Lodge was a lovely property, and proved to be a choice location while traveling through Cortez. The Wranglers Roost was plenty comfortable for our overnight stay - bedding options, space, and value were a win. We greatly appreciated the service and offerings JanElle and Todd provide, and we'd look forward to an opportunity to stay again while in the area.

Irene3/29/2021We were a large group of 14. When we arrive at Mountain View Lodge everything was ready the lights were even on. The lodge is so curly decorated. We were four families and had enough rooms for each family. The kids were able to run around in the large yard, play games in the games room. When asked what they wanted to do they replied play. There was even a tree swing which the kids loved. Our stay their was relaxing and very peaceful. Mountain View Lodge is a hidden gem. The scenery was amazing! JoaElle was a wonderful host. This is a place I would love to return to. Thank you for a great vacation! 
Kathy6/09/2023Great ranch location outside of Cortez. We stayed in the wranglers roost room(s) which had two private and one semi-private bedrooms. Clean and comfortable space. Shared kitchen space, which worked for us, but no other guests really used it that week. 
Kevin10/12/2023This place was awesome. Great location for Mesa Verde. Plenty of room for 6 people, 2 private rooms, and a great common room downstairs. Also a really cool mountain view from the front porch with some chairs. Nice and quiet, very clean, would highly recommend!

Dwight6/10/2021 - This was the first time we have tried an air b n’ b with a shared space. The home was spacious, and the suite we stayed in was large enough to spread out. There was another family there that we shared the kitchen with. The space was plenty big enough to share. We appreciated that there were two kitchen tables, so we could all sit down and eat. The game room was great, my kids loved the ping pong. We would definitely stay again!
Amy10/19/2023Great house for our family reunion we had. Games for the whole family and totes of toys for kids. Great yard and close to Mesa Verde, Four Corners, and great local restaurants. We are planning to come back again!

Ricardo3/26/2020This place will not disappoint you! JanElle and her family are amazing wonderful kind souls! They went above and beyond to make sure we got the best experience durning our stay. JanElle was in constant contact with me weeks before our arrival we had a million questions and she was sure to answer and figure stuff out for us. We loved the extras we added to our stay. The murder mystery dinner was a blast and her family came and sat in the heat and kept score and set up a cornhole tournament. Cause ya know we are a bit competitive our family was able to get closer and connect and relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The lake was just a 20 minute drive and there was plenty to do. We will definitely be having our next family reunion here again. Book this place for an amazing experience ❤️

So many configurations within the house made it very easy for our extended family to feel comfortable and have their own privacy. We will definitely be staying here again and again and again

Rupert7/31/2022We rented the entire place for a gathering of family and friends to celebrate a 90th birthday, hosting about 25 people. The place was perfect for the occasion. Lots of room and well equipped. The view is spectacular. The suites are large , clean and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 days and the location is great, it's a short drive to Cortez or Dolores or Mesa Verde NP. Lots of things to do. This place is an exceptional value. 
William1/18/2022JanElle is an awesome host! Very accomodating. The property is beautiful. She even made fresh muffins in thr morning for us. Will stay again. Family loved the games and big yard and all of the wildlife. Plus the amazing views. Give it a look! 
Tye7/25/2022We stayed in the Wrangler's Roost which was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality.
