- We really enjoyed our stay at this great location! We enjoyed watching deer from the front and back windows, being away from the city, access to the large private and shared spaces. Great location for a great price!
Marlow10/22/2023Great casual place for the family. Enjoyed the large common area especially the porch with its view of the mountains. My daughter loved the ping pong and foos ball tables in the game room. JanElle was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was yummy.

The kids loved the activity room with all the toys and the view is amazing from the front porch. We spend many morning s and evening’s sitting outside. Our whole family enjoyed the trip. Ricardo3/26/2020We loved staying here! Dolores is such a fun, cute little town and the house was situated in a great spot for seeing all the sights we wanted to hit.
The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were extremely well stocked and there was plenty of extra bedding and things all around. The kids LOVED the toy room and we loved that we could shut the door and get some peace and quiet while they played. They spent most of the time on the playground, tire swing, or watching for deer on the porch. We had plenty of space in the kitchen (2 large tables), and loved that we could have a space for each family we were traveling with. We spent delightful evenings on the porch, and would love to return.
The only thing on our wish list that was missing was a washer and dryer.

Kevin9/01/2023The place was absolutely perfect for our needs - a suite of rooms that easily slept mom & dad & 3 full grown kids comfortably - could have even fit 2 more in a pinch! Breakfast was amazing! The view from the front porch is beautiful. We were just sorry we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the ping pong, corn hole & foosball! 
Scott5/24/2020Generally a good place to stay, however the headboard on the bed should be swapped out for a smaller one that allows the bed to sit against the wall as it is very small and feels too easy to fall off because of it not being against the wall. The ac unit is so loud that it's difficult to sleep through so I had to turn it off. the covers onthe bed are too small and made for a less than ideal nights sleep . the shower and bathroom are well maintained and easy to use.

Samantha3/24/2020Wir waren eine Nacht bei JanElle und haben es sehr genossen. Von dem Grundstück schaut man auf weite Felder und hat die Hügel im Hintergrund. Wir haben den Abend auf der Veranda verbracht und die Aussicht genossen. Für Selbstversorger gibt es ein Walmart ganz in der Nähe. In dem Haus gibt es eine gut ausgestattete Küche und Fernseher sowie einen Spielraum.
Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

We booked pretty last minute in July 🥵 so the bedrooms were pretty hot upon arrival but the hosts were extremely accommodating and helped us utilize other spaces/fans while the rooms cooled down.
Very friendly, responsive and helpful hosts!

My kids loved the game room, huge yard, and playground set! We also loved the wonderful breakfast, it was homemade and amazing! I highly recommended Janelle's Airbnb! Sultan8/19/2021We were a large group of 14. When we arrive at Mountain View Lodge everything was ready the lights were even on. The lodge is so curly decorated. We were four families and had enough rooms for each family. The kids were able to run around in the large yard, play games in the games room. When asked what they wanted to do they replied play. There was even a tree swing which the kids loved. Our stay their was relaxing and very peaceful. Mountain View Lodge is a hidden gem. The scenery was amazing! JoaElle was a wonderful host. This is a place I would love to return to. Thank you for a great vacation!
